According to a report from VICE, popular gaming insider NateTheHate has indicated that gameplay for Grand Theft Auto VI could be revealed in August. This speculation aligns with Rockstar's marketing strategy as the game approaches its scheduled release on November 19.
NateTheHate responded to a fan inquiry on X, stating, 'I expect to see a fair bit of GTA 6 this month,' specifically referring to August. However, it's important to note that he framed this as an expectation rather than confirmed information from sources. He did not explicitly mention 'gameplay' in his responses.
Despite the uncertainty, NateTheHate is regarded as a reliable insider, having previously leaked significant information about other titles, including the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake for Switch 2. He has also reassured fans that GTA 6 is on track for its November release and will not face further delays.
Concerns about the lack of gameplay footage have been voiced by fans, especially given that the game has been delayed twice in the past. Nate addressed these concerns by stating, '[Rockstar Games] have a marketing plan & they are sticking to that plan. No reason for concern.' His comments reflect a broader sentiment among industry insiders, including Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, who expressed high confidence that GTA 6 would not be delayed again.
