GTA VI Characters
Lucia, Jason, and every GTA 6 character profile we track — lore, roles, and Leonida connections.
Protagonist

Jason Duval
Jason Duval is one of the two playable protagonists of Grand Theft Auto VI, alongside Lucia Caminos. Rockstar has built every trailer around the pair: in the Launch Trailer's own words, when an easy score goes wrong, Jason and Lucia end up in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida. Jason's story is tied to the Leonida Keys, where he lives and where much of his early footage is set. His landlord there is Brian Heder, and his friend Cal Hampton is part of the same circle. Details about missions and Jason's full backstory will be added as Rockstar publishes them and once the game is out on November 19, 2026.
protagonist
Lucia Caminos
Lucia Caminos is one of the two playable protagonists of Grand Theft Auto VI, and the first female lead in a mainline Grand Theft Auto game since the series went 3D. She shares the story with Jason Duval. The first trailer opens with Lucia in Leonida Penitentiary, and Rockstar's trailers since have followed her and Jason as partners. In the Launch Trailer's words, when an easy score goes wrong, they end up in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida. More about Lucia's story and missions will be added as Rockstar reveals it and once the game is out on November 19, 2026.
