GTA VI
Privacy Policy
What GTA VI Hub collects, why, and how to control it.
This policy explains what information GTA VI Hub (“we”, “the site”) collects when you use gtavihub.gg and how it is used. You can browse news, guides, and the map without an account.
Information we collect
Account data
If you create an account, we store your email address, the username and display name you choose, and — if you sign in with Google — the basic profile details Google shares with us (name, email, avatar). Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us in plain text.
Launch reminder
If you ask for a launch-day reminder, we store the email address you enter and use it only to send that reminder and occasional site updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to the email or writing to us.
Content you create
Tracker progress, achievements, saved articles and locations, community posts, comments, likes, and poll votes are stored with your account. Public profile pages show your username, level, and completion statistics.
Data stored in your browser
Without an account, tracker progress is saved only in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device. Signing in uses cookies that keep you logged in.
Usage and technical data
Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. We may also use analytics tools (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to understand which pages are useful; these tools can set cookies and record interactions with the page.
How we use information
- to provide accounts, the tracker, leaderboards, and community features;
- to understand how the site is used and improve it;
- to prevent abuse and keep the service secure;
- to reply when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:
- Supabase — database and authentication;
- Vercel — hosting and content delivery;
- Google — sign-in with Google, and Google Analytics where enabled;
- Microsoft Clarity — usage analytics where enabled;
- YouTube — embedded videos load from YouTube and are subject to Google’s privacy policy.
Your choices and rights
- You can use most of the site without an account.
- You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
- You can ask us for a copy of your account data, to correct it, or to delete your account and associated content by emailing alex@alexframe.dev.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, or California), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request. Aggregated analytics that cannot identify you may be kept longer.
Children
The site covers a game rated for mature audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date below shows the latest revision.
