The Protagonists
Grand Theft Auto VI has two playable protagonists, Lucia and Jason. Rockstar has built every trailer around the pair, from the first reveal to the Launch Trailer. In the Launch Trailer description, Rockstar sums up their story: when an easy score goes wrong, they end up in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida.
The Supporting Cast
Alongside Trailer 2, Rockstar introduced a group of supporting characters. Each has a profile on GTA VI Hub:
- Cal — part of the criminal world around Jason and Lucia
- Boobie Ike — tied to Vice City's street culture and music scene
- Dre'Quan Priest — connected to Vice City nightlife
- Real Dimez — linked to Leonida's music and street culture
- Raul Bautista — part of Leonida's criminal underworld
- Brian — a named supporting role in Rockstar's official character lineup
Rockstar has not said how big each role is in the story, so treat anything beyond their official descriptions as speculation until the game is out.
