Confirmed Facts
Rockstar Games released the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer on October 15, 2026, publishing it on its official YouTube channel and the Rockstar Newswire. It is the latest official look at the game before release, which Rockstar confirms for November 19, 2026.
According to Rockstar, the trailer was captured entirely in-game on a PlayStation 5.
The official description sets up the story: Jason and Lucia "have always known the deck is stacked against them," and when an easy score goes wrong they end up "in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida," forced to rely on each other to make it out alive.
New Music From Justice
The trailer is scored with new music from French electronic duo Justice, who Rockstar names as composers of Grand Theft Auto VI's original score.
Rockstar also highlighted a new standalone Justice single, "Flower in a Hurricane", featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It appears on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack, which can be pre-saved on major streaming services and pre-ordered on vinyl or CD.
What This Means for Players
With the release date unchanged, this is the trailer Rockstar is using to lead into launch. Pre-orders are open on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and Rockstar has said digital pre-order buyers can pre-load from November 12.
Rockstar has not said whether more trailers will follow before release, so we are not calling this the "final" trailer until it is confirmed.
