Confirmed Facts
Rockstar Games has unveiled a $400 collector's set for Grand Theft Auto VI, titled Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection. However, the set does not include a digital code for the game itself.
Instead, the collector's box features 11 items inspired by the in-game TV show Macca the Alligator. Included in the set are a pair of Oakley sunglasses, a New Era snapback hat, a crossbody bag, a keychain, and a double-sided poster of GTA VI's fictional Leonida Keys, which is based on Florida.
Deep-pocketed fans can pre-order the collector's box now, which is set to arrive on November 19th, coinciding with the digital-only release of GTA VI. Players will need to purchase the game separately for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S.
Community Discussion
Community reports suggest that many fans expected the collector's set to include at least a digital code for the game, given its price point. The absence of the game has led to some disappointment among potential buyers.
