Community Reports
Recent community reports suggest that the release of Grand Theft Auto 6's third trailer may be imminent. According to Kotaku, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next trailer since the second one launched in May 2025, over a year ago.
The speculation gained traction after reliable leaker NateTheHate hinted during a Twitter Q&A that he expects to see significant GTA 6 news in August. This statement has stirred excitement among fans, who are now closely monitoring Rockstar's communications.
Adding to the buzz, iGrandTheftAuto, a notable content creator in the GTA community, reported observing backend changes to the GTA 6 website. They noted three minor updates on the site, suggesting that something might be happening soon. The creator recalled similar changes occurring before the previous cover reveal and pre-order announcements.
As the community reacted, discussions on platforms like Reddit showcased a mix of excitement and skepticism. Some users expressed belief that trailer three is on the horizon, while others criticized the cycle of speculation.
Interestingly, the timing of Take-Two's next investor call on August 7 has also fueled speculation. Historically, Rockstar has timed marketing efforts around these calls, and Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick previously mentioned that the GTA 6 marketing push would commence in summer.
While there are no official confirmations regarding a new trailer, the combination of insider hints and website activity has led many to believe that Rockstar is preparing to unveil more information about GTA 6 soon.
