Community Reports
Community reports suggest that Rockstar Games will not be launching Grand Theft Auto 6 on PC alongside its release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on November 19. The official reason provided is that Rockstar aims to serve its core audience and work with fixed hardware specifications first. However, some speculate that concerns over software piracy may also play a role in this decision.
In a surprising twist, a Turkish developer named Brgames Interactive plans to release their game, Phantom Vice Auto, on the same day as GTA 6. This game features elements reminiscent of the Grand Theft Auto series, including driving, shooting, and parkour animations. The game will launch in early access on Steam, with claims of three playable GTA VI Characters and a standalone online mode.
Despite its ambitious features, Phantom Vice Auto has been described as an unfinished product, developed by a small team of three people. The game's trailer, which is over a year old, has raised questions about its quality and completeness. Nevertheless, some in the community view Brgames Interactive's decision to launch against GTA 6 as either a bold move or a misguided one.
